In
keeping with our corporate philosophy of water conservation, TOTO
has continued to perfect our flushing technology with the introduction
of nine new 1.28 gpf High Efficiency Toilets (HETs) based on some
of our most popular models. These new HETs will join our highly
successful Aquia®
dual-flush toilet, our first high efficiency toilet (HET).
Our new HETs
feature the 1.28-gallon E-Max flushing system that uses 20% less
water than our standard 1.6 gpf toilet. Similar in function and
efficiency to our renowned G-Max flushing system, E-Max delivers
the same reliable, one-flush performance that you have come to expect
from TOTO. Available in Cotton (#01), each of our new HET models
features a five-year limited warranty.

effect. And now, with our new HETs, our focus is the same: greatly
reducing water consumption in toilets through exhaustive engineering,
research and testing, all while ensuring TOTO-grade high-performance

Our new HETs
help to earn one water efficiency credit in the United States Green
Building Council USGBC’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED)
green building rating system. These new HETs shall all be registered
in the EPA’s new WaterSense®
water efficiency program and will carry the WaterSense label.
