Community
TOTO strives to act responsibly as a corporation, and is actively engaged in a variety of socially responsible, community-based projects.

We often partner with businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, universities and other groups. In addition to donating TOTO products to auctions benefiting a variety of worthy causes – including Captain Planet, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Southface Institute and Serenbe – we have helped educate people about sustainability and provided TOTO products in significant disaster rebuilding efforts.

Here are a few examples:

Habitat for Humanity
  • TOTO has a long history of supporting Habitat for Humanity (H4H) and has made significant product donations to the organization over the years.

  • TOTO sponsors Saturday Build Days for our employees.

  • Our Atlanta-based TOTO team is very active with Habitat and donates their time to help build houses.

TOTO in the Community
  • TOTO employee Gunner Baldwin rowed his 18’ guide boat along the Erie Canal each summer from 2004 to 2008 to support Habitat for Humanity. He rowed a total of 1,588 miles to support 15 New York chapters of H4H, and TOTO provided plumbing fixtures for every house they built.

  • TOTO donated hundreds of bathroom fixtures to residents in Joplin, Missouri and Jacksonville, Alabama, after devastating tornadoes and flooding in 2011.

  • In 2013, TOTO shipped bathroom fixtures to more than 2,000 families.
