Five Reasons the WASHLET S5 Is 2025’s Must-Have Holiday Gift
When you think holiday gift, what comes to mind? Another sweater that ends up stuffed in the back of the drawer? A candle that is professed to smell like “forest breeze” but somehow still smells like every other candle? This year, it’s time to think smarter — and cleaner. It’s time to think WASHLET.
The WASHLET S5 bidet seat is redefining what it means to give comfort, style, and thoughtful innovation. It’s not just a bathroom upgrade — it’s a lifestyle wellness gift that turns daily routines into spa-like rituals. Recognized by The New York Times Wirecutter as 2025’s Best Bidet Seat, the WASHLET S5 combines design precision with technology that makes people wonder how they ever lived without it.
Recognized for Excellence
You don’t have to take our word for it. The New York Times Wirecutter tested over 40 models and crowned the WASHLET S5 “Best Bidet Seat of 2025.” Why? Because it’s beautifully engineered to do everything right.
Its elegant silhouette feels at home in any luxury bathroom. The ergonomically designed remote puts comfort literally at your fingertips. And its instantaneous warm water cleansing? Let’s just say once you experience it, you’ll never go back to dry paper.
The S5 is proof that everyday routines can feel extraordinary when design meets intelligence. This isn’t a gadget — it’s wellness, installed.
Designed for Daily Wellness
Every morning begins with personal wellness and comfort. The WASHLET S5’s heated seat takes the chill off cold mornings. The unlimited warm-water cleansing makes you feel cleaner than you’ve ever felt after a bathroom break. The warm-air dryer gently, effectively finishes the job: no more harsh paper. It’s better for you and better for the planet.
Its PREMIST® feature lightly sprays the bowl before each use, preventing waste from sticking. Afterward, EWATER+® automatically mists the wand with electrolyzed water, keeping everything fresh and hygienic without harsh chemicals. Together, these smart technologies create a cleaner experience for you and the planet.
Over time, these moments of comfort become something more — a quiet, daily ritual that makes your home feel just a little more like a spa.
Clean Technology, Thoughtfully Crafted
Here’s where the S5 truly shines. It’s not just about the feeling of cleanliness — it’s about maintaining it effortlessly.
The EWATER+® system automatically cleanses the wand after every use, while PREMIST® mists the bowl before use to keep it cleaner longer. The self-cleaning wand even cleans itself inside and out before and after each use, ensuring ultimate hygiene.
The S5’s CLEAN RESIN® surface keeps the wand and seat cleaner and easier to maintain, resisting buildup for a more hygienic experience. The gentle aerated, warm-water spray provides both front and rear cleansing with oscillating and pulsating water massage options, while the adjustable spray position, water temperature, and pressure let every user personalize their comfort.
An instantaneous water heater delivers continuous warm water while conserving energy. After cleansing, a warm air dryer with three temperature settings leaves you feeling refreshed. The automatic air deodorizer neutralizes odors, quietly maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.
The multifunction remote control stores personalized memory settings for up to four users, while the heated seat with adjustable temperature ensures year-round comfort. Its seamless seat design eliminates the gap where dirt collects, and the SoftClose® feature means no more loud slamming lids.
At night, a subtle night light illuminates the inside of the bowl — an elegant touch that combines safety and design. And when not in use, Auto Energy Saver Mode intelligently adjusts seat temperature, maximizing efficiency.
Best of all, the WASHLET S5 is compatible with most toilets (both round and elongated) making it as practical as it is luxurious.
This is more than technology — it’s thoughtful engineering designed to anticipate your every need.
Beautiful Inside and Out
Function is only half the story. With its slender profile — now 19% slimmer than earlier designs — the tankless WASHLET S5 fits seamlessly into any bathroom aesthetic. The minimalist form, soft curves, and clean design embody the precision of modern Japanese engineering.
